Guests may enjoy a wide variety of intimate wildlife viewing experiences including twice-daily game drives, bush walks, Zulu village tours, nighttime turtle drives offered seasonally, scuba and ocean safaris, black rhino tracking on foot, and conservation experiences with Cheetah, Rhino, Lion, and Nyala.
The Phinda Game Reserve has a remarkable complexity of habitats that include woodland, grassland, wetland, forest, mountain, marsh, and river, and is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino) and more than 430 different bird species.
Secluded air-conditioned guest suites are constructed of floor-to-ceiling glass and timber in a style referred to as Zulu Zen. Suites are raised on stilts between the forest floor and the tree canopy, offering privacy with sweeping views through the forest. Lodge amenities include an infinity pool overlooking the forest, an interactive dining experience, a safari shop, open air dining, and wifi.
