Meaning “tranquil” in the local Tsonga language, Tengile River Lodge holds an idyllic private position on a bend of the Sand River, with serene river views from every vantage point. The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is well known for its leopard sightings and you may well spot one of these elusive cats resting after a successful night hunt. Strict vehicle limits at game sightings ensure the exclusivity of the wildlife experiences.
The lodge features nine secluded suites, nestled in the dappled shade of the cool riverine forest, each with soothing river outlooks. Their elevated position creates the illusion that they are lightly floating over the riverbed. Space is taken to an unprecedented level in these guest suites.
